Vera Wang’s Prosecco has been in the works for years. In 2009, the brand premiered its first line of Champagne-inspired sparkling wine in the US at the Madison Avenue Armory in New York City. Since then, Prosecco has grown to be a seasonal item at stores across the country, as the association with summer has grown.

To make Prosecco, Vera Wang sought out a winemaker with a rich heritage and recognized pedigree. It turned to the leading wine region of Piedmont, known for its sparkling wines, and to Araldica, maker of the best-selling Moscato in America.
