Family Wine is in the spotlight with a team of Michelin-trained chefs for a virtual wine and food event; limited space now available online
Napa Valley, CA – (February 9, 2021) – Kenefick Ranch announced today that it has partnered with San Francisco-based Truffle Shuffle for an incredible and unprecedented virtual cooking show. On Saturday, March 13 at 4 p.m., the interactive dinner will be led by a team of Michelin-trained chefs who will show viewers how to prepare restaurant-quality dishes at home, and Chris Kenefick, Vice President of Sales at Kenefick Ranch, will discuss the two wines he expertly paired with the dish.
“Although we would love to dine together in person, we are excited to use this unique experience to virtually connect with other food and wine enthusiasts,” said Chris, “We have really enjoyed connecting with our wine club members and other customers during Pandemonium by holding monthly wine tastings on Facebook. We are pleased to offer our guests the opportunity to learn the valuable craft of cooking from a Michelin-trained chef and, of course, to taste the excellent wines that come with it.”
The Truffle Shuffle was founded by a group of renowned food and wine industry professionals, including two French Laundry graduates, to find and offer the best truffles. During the pandemic, the brand became the culinary leader in the country, gaining recognition from O magazine, the Kelly Clarkson Show and the San Francisco Chronicle. In each virtual “chef” event, their team equips viewers with the skills needed to prepare delicious and elegant dishes like a real chef.
Snake River Farms’ steak and bear sauce will be paired with Kenefick Ranch’s Picket Road White 2016 and Chris’ Cabernet Sauvignon 2017 as the evening’s main course. A bottle of each wine will be included in the package, along with all the ingredients needed to make an appetizer for two.
Those wishing to purchase the Truffle Shuffle package can visit the Kenefick Ranch online store at www.KenefickRanch.com/Shop. The 90-minute virtual event begins at 4 p.m. PT. The package costs $195, and a portion of each order goes to a family in need.
About the Kenefick ranch.
Kenefick Ranch is a family winery in Calistoga, California. The vineyard was founded when Dr. Tom Kenefick, a neurosurgeon in San Francisco, first visited – and fell in love with – the Napa Valley. In 1980, he purchased a 250-acre ranch in America’s northernmost wine growing region (AVA), Calistoga, where half the land is planted with vines. In 2002, Dr. Kenefick retired from neurosurgery and began Kenefick Ranch to produce and sell his own portfolio of award-winning wines. Today, Kenefick Ranch sells its own brand and 90% of its grapes to renowned brands such as Caymus Vineyards, Cade Estate Winery, Eisele Vineyard and Nickel + Nickel, as well as to winemakers Thomas Rivers Brown and Heidi Barrett. Kenefick Ranch prides itself on its dynamic wine club, which offers both wine lovers and newcomers access to an array of benefits, including discounts, first announcements of limited outings, invitations to private events, free tastings, tours of the winery, and discounts on shipments and birthday gifts. About the Tasmanian truffle.
Chefs Jason McKinney and Tyler Worth, who have worked in the best kitchens of starred restaurants like The French Laundry, loved to incorporate truffles into their dishes. Sarah, who worked at The French Laundry, shared the chefs’ love of truffles. Together, they were fascinated by how a dish made with fresh truffles and a few simple ingredients could create special and timeless memories for guests. The chefs conceived and launched the Truffle Shuffle as an honest truffle company to offer the best truffle products and consciously seek out and track fresh truffles. Their mission is to personally seek out truffles and produce the best truffle products in the world. They also serve and support the community by voluntarily donating a portion of their 1% profit to the planet in hopes of solving the world’s problems, truffle by truffle.
