Los Angeles-based artist Jen Stark and a California winery of Joel Burt and Eric Wareheim are launching a digital version of their unique sparkling wine, BitWine, to support a good cause.

May 20, 2021 – TORONTO, ON – BitWine (bitwine.org), a new crypto collection of 1,000 non-playable tokens (NFTs) inspired by real wines, has partnered with Los Angeles artist Jen Stark (jenstark.com) and Las Jaras Wines (lasjaraswines.com) to auction off a digital replica of their iconic 2018 sparkling wine in support of the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank.

As of May 5, 2021 at 0:01. PST, BitWine 976 trade will be opened on the popular trading platform NFT OpenSea. The deadline for submission is 12:01 a.m. on May 14, 2021. PST. All proceeds from the auction will go to the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, a vital organization that feeds more than 300,000 people each month.

Las Jaras Wines, led by Joel Burt and Eric Wareheim, first partnered with Stark in 2016 for a dazzling design on the label of its Petilant-Natural style sparkling wine. Since then, Stark has used his unique style of bright colors and visual appeal in a number of other Las Jaras offerings.

For the first time, at 8. Released in April 2021, BitWine consists of 1,000 collectible NFT artworks inspired by real wines. BitWine has already raised over $260,000 since its launch. BitWine was created by Lauren Vale – recognized sommelier, Stephen Osborne – renowned pixel artist, and Evan Kist – one of the original members of the CryptoKitties and NBA Top Shot teams.
