Rick Tigner, CEO of Jackson Family Wines, stated: We are proud to support Foundation Six and Sonoma County’s first responders, who play a vital role in keeping our community safe. We know how important it is to keep these men and women healthy and ensure they have access to the health care they need through organizations like the Six Foundation.

Sonia McVey, founder of the Six Foundation, said: Our communities rely on these caregivers every day to keep us healthy and safe. She continued: The Six Foundation was founded on the belief that a person who puts their life on the line for their community deserves to be cared for by the community in return. If a professional athlete gets a treatment team, so does the firefighter who saved my home, the veteran who fought for my freedom, the law enforcement officer who protects my streets, and the people who took these calls. The Six Foundation was created to ensure that our first responders have a place to get care and stay healthy and safe.

About Jackson Family Wines

Jackson Family Wines is a family business with a penchant for research. Founder Jess Jackson put his belief in agriculture and the careful expression of wine into his first landscape-changing harvest in 1982. It is an idea that President Barbara Bank, the Jackson family and our staff continue to support to this day. The Jackson family’s collection of 40 vineyards covers the major wine regions from California, Oregon, France and Italy in the Northern Hemisphere to Australia, Chile and South Africa in the southern half of the globe. The ownership of the vineyard and its continuous practice remain a guarantee of consistent quality, and the artisanal winemaking underlines a relentless commitment to creating wines with character and integrity.

On July 27, Jackson Family Wines will host the Wine, Bites & Bids Fundraiser at its vineyards for Sonoma County first responders.
