A Cabernet affair strongly recommended by the favorite producer, Cult Lodi Cabernet Sauvignon.

The cult of the Cabernet Sauvignon of Lodi is even crazier...

End of the year on a high note….

Fortunately the year 2020 is coming to an end, and in this year we thought it only fitting to say goodbye with a big bang. So we bring back one of our favorite Cabernet producers with an even better wine than the one we offered in the past.

Today’s wine comes from the Cult Wine Company, the same producer as our very popular and incredibly good Cult California Cabernet, which was a bestseller both times. But this time we go a little further with a wine that comes entirely from Lodi (compared to a few different sources from California Cab).

The current Cabernet has been matured for 20 months in a combination of French and American oak (the Californian bottle has matured for 18 months) and less than 6,000 crates have been produced.

This bottle got 90 points from both of them and from Anthony Diaz Blue.

And the next day we offer 6 bottles for $89.99, that’s only $15 per bottle, plus $5 for shipping!

This 6-pack is available for shipment to the following states: AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, IL, KS, LA, MA, MD, ME, MI, MN, MO, MT, NC, ND, NE, NH, NJ, NM, NV, NY, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, VA, VT, WA, WV, WI and WY. (These states require individual licenses for proposed wineries. More or fewer states may be available under future agreements).

This is a direct, time-limited offer, negotiated by our friends from Wine Country Connect. The sale closes at noon (PST) on Friday 1 January, unless it is sold out before that time. Shipping costs are $5 per order, regardless of the number of 6-packs you buy.

When you click on the Buy button above, you will be redirected to winedealmaker.com to place your order. If you don’t see a built-in shop window, click here to order. You can also adjust the number of 6-packs in your order by clicking on the Update Cart link at the top of the screen.

The Cult Lodi Cabernet Sauvignon 2017 consists of 86% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Petit Verdot, 4% Petit Sirah and 2% Merlot.

From the wine cellar:

This wine comes entirely from our Lodi vineyards. We are a very small manufacturer and we have a small amount of Lodi products to sell for this list. Unfortunately it is difficult for many wineries to find good Cabernet. We only use fruit from our friends and family for CULTA LODY.

The bottle of Lodi has matured for 20 months and we used a combination of French and American oak (CA has matured for 18 months). Much less American oak than the CULT-CA of 2016 or 2017.

Lodi has a deep red color with much spicier fruit. This means it has a more intense black fruit profile. In fact, I enjoy this wine more than the CA bottling because the oak is better integrated and the fruit is richer. It is very easy to drink and contains about 0.5% less alcohol.

Produced and bottled by Cult Wine Ltd. 13.9% alcohol

The cult of the Cabernet Sauvignon of Lodi is even crazier...

Cabernet Sauvignon Cult Lodi 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon begins with very attractive aromas of baker’s herbs, cinnamon, mint, vanilla, leather, black fruits and more.

It is a sweet and spicy taxi that is almost too easy to drink. The wine tasting shows a lot of influence of oak, but it is very well made. We found it mediocre to full, slightly tanned and quite tasty. Well balanced, with a little time to open up, we liked it a lot.

It ends dry with a large length. This is an excellent purchase at this price level for a cabernet of very high quality. Oh, and it’s just as well on the second day, but it’s not likely to happen that long after the first sip.

And this is what people say about our previous insider trading:

My wife and I enjoyed discovering new wines (and better than the ones we used to buy!) Thank you for making and offering this service!

The wine is excellent. I’m so glad I bought a suitcase.

John, I had to get more! It’s delicious!

Thanks for the deal… This wine is fantastic for $12.50 a bottle. I’m used to buying big, young, strong Cabs or old vineyard jeans and paying a lot more for them.

I took six bottles and took my first drink. Why, why didn’t I buy a suitcase?!?

Hi John, I just wanted to tell you that I love this wine !!!!. Thanks for doing what you’re doing.

John – you have to stop offering all these bargains. My self-discipline is fading fast!!!

I used your suggestion the other day. I’m so glad I did, and now I wish I had bought more (like all the quotes on your site!).
