In the recent months, Francis Ford Coppola Winery has released Pool House Wines. Pool House Wines are the result of a collaboration with renowned chef and wine maker, Peter Guzman, to produce a new range of wine. The wines are made from grapes grown in the region of St. Helena, California , and will be available in the US in mid-April.
If you’re a fan of the movies of Francis Ford Coppola, you will want to try the new Francis Ford Coppola Winery Pool House wines. The collection of wines is named after the pool house that Coppola built for himself on the winery grounds. In the evenings, Coppola would entertain friends at the pool house, where he met many of the actors and actresses who later appeared in his films.
Francis Ford Coppola Winery launched two new wineries in the Pacific Northwest, one in Washington and another on the Oregon/California border. The winery known as Vintners’ Reserve at the Francis Ford Coppola Winery in Tualatin, OR, produces a wide range of wines that include cabernet sauvignon, chardonnay, merlot, pinot grigio, pinot noir, sauvignon blanc, zinfandel and a reserve rosato.View
The new light and refreshing wines contain less sugar, calories and alcohol without compromising on taste.
June- GAESERVILLE, CA – Francis Ford Coppola Winery, an award-winning winery in Northern California, is proud to announce the launch of Pool House, a new line of low-alcohol, low-calorie wines that are aromatic, light and refreshing, perfect for enjoying by the pool during long summer afternoons and trips to the beach.
Pool House was inspired by its namesake, the idyllic pool at Francis Ford Coppola’s winery in Sonoma County. Customers often wished for session wines that they could taste during their day visits. The Coppola winemakers wanted to make 4 wines with real flavor, less alcohol and calories. They choose vineyards that produce grapes with intense flavor and harvest them early to get the minimum amount of sugar the grapes naturally produce. Less sugar in the grapes means less alcohol, and the use of rotary cone technology in the winemaking process lowers the alcohol content even further. As a result, the wines contain 75-85 calories per serving, only 4 carbohydrates and 1 gram of sugar at 9% alcohol.
We designed Pool House wines to be primarily full-bodied, with the added benefit of lower calories, sugar and alcohol, says Corey Beck, director of winemaking at Francis Ford Coppola Winery. We put a lot of effort into selecting the vineyards to make this possible, and we’re happy to have the finished product in time for the summer season.
