View Napa, CA – 13. January 2021 – The virtual exhibition, with all DTC vendors in one place at once, is a key component of the 14th Annual DTC Wine Symposium. In this 100% virtual conference, exhibitors will present new products and services and communicate directly with attendees – all in the context of the event’s application. This is the best opportunity for DTC managers to learn about new tools and solutions to common problems.

The DTC Wine Symposium is the wine industry’s national summit for sales and direct-to-consumer marketing and serves as a showcase and fundraiser for complimentary wines. The symposium will take place virtually from the 19th to the 22nd. January 2021. Registration is still open.

Here is a sample of the exhibitors’ products and services that will be on display at the show:

Avalara’s new solution for DTC compliance in wine cellars. The year 2021 promises explosive growth in DTC wine sales, and Avalara’s new spirits compliance suite offers the industry’s most comprehensive cloud-based platform for retailers struggling with the complexities of federal taxation, registration and licensing. Avalara for Beverage Alcohol offers the industry’s only comprehensive, integrated and automated compliance solution consisting of software and services, including sales/use/alcohol tax calculation with the newly added AvaTax for Beverage Alcohol; an outsourced licensing service to track registration with ATA, DOR and ABC; fully outsourced product registration for all levels of government; a tax refund service for tax compliance.

Liviri wine is added to the wine every season. Behind every bottle of wine are countless hours of growing, harvesting, maturing and tasting, so there is no room for error in the delivery of the end result. Liviri Vino is a wine transport cooler designed for safe and cost-effective overland transportation, eliminating weather conditions and allowing for year-round wine delivery. Because the entire container is reusable, it’s also an eco-friendly solution that eliminates the need for polystyrene, corrugated cardboard and cold packs – for a less wasteful future. Liviri Vino4 and Vino6 are now available on Visit us at the DTC Wine Symposium for more information.

Wine and Spirits right Digest to launch new opportunities. The Digest of Wine and Spirits Law helps wineries stay abreast of legislative and regulatory changes that affect our industry. The online version now shows subscribers exactly what has changed when the laws are updated and offers additional email notifications. Stop by our virtual booth and see how Digest can help you quickly find the answers you need. A trusted resource for industry professionals since 1991, the Digest provides an in-depth summary of state laws in a user-friendly format with links for further research. Discounts are available during the symposium. [email protected].

Astra Postcard Retargeting – Old World Marketing with a New World Strategy We have added a new service to our digital marketing strategy – traditional post with a modern flair. In postcard retargeting, we use a simple code on your website to identify new visitors. Within days, these new customers will receive a promotional postcard from your winery, designed by your Astra account manager. We find that 8 to 18% of people return to the site after receiving a postcard in the mail and in terms of wine sales, the return on investment is between 300 and 1200%. Returning postcards is a digital marketing activity that is easy to learn and will capture the attention of your potential customers.

From eCellar: Multiship and PUSH PAY services arrive in the first quarter of 2021! We understand that making multiple orders for corporate gifts and virtual tastings with a single payment can be a daunting task. To achieve this, we are working with Clif Family Winery, Jessup Cellars and Palmaz Vineyards to develop eCELLAR Multi-Ship, which allows eCELLAR wineries to create multiple orders and bill a single payer – all from a single spreadsheet download. In addition, we know that many wineries have made significant investments in their tasting rooms and outdoor terraces to provide an enjoyable experience for their customers. With eCELLAR PUSH PAY, customers only touch their phone when paying. No special applications or equipment are required. It is free and easy to use for any eCELLAR vineyard and its customers.

DTC Wine Symposium presents and raises funds for a free grape harvest! The symposium raised more than $1 million for the Free Grape PR campaign and the work of the Free Trade Coalition (the FTC withdrew in 2014 after reaching its goals). Both groups worked closely with industry lobbyists and regional associations to streamline burdensome regulations and increase the number of legal shipping states from 17 to 46, representing 96% of the U.S. population.
