Bravo is known for being all about the wine, and the final episode of Top Chef was no exception. Host Padma Lakshmi kicked off the show at Willamette Valley Vineyards, which is where the final two amateur cooks put their dishes to the test. The contestants were paired off in teams of two and, after a seven-course meal, they were left to decide who would be declared a winner.

Bravo’s top chef, Tom Colicchio, and wine expert, Eric Ripert, hosted a party on Willamette Valley Vineyards grounds on Wednesday, May 17. The event was an exclusive wine tasting for the Top Chef finale episode and it was the perfect venue for this party for the show’s host, Thomas Colicchio. Bravo had the entirety of the vineyard to themselves on a beautiful spring day, and the two chefs were in full chef attire, as was the case during all of the episodes of Top Chef.

July 1 – (Turner, OR) – Willamette Valley Vineyards, Oregon’s premier Pinot Noir producer, will host the finale of season 18 of Bravo’s Emmy Award-winning Top Chef.

Presenter Padma Lakshmi announced in episode 13 of Bravo’s Top Chef Portland that finalists Dawn Burrell, Gabe Erales and Shota Nakajima will travel to Willamette Valley Vineyards in Oregon’s famed wine country to create the best four-course meal of their lives.

We are honored to have been chosen as the filming location for Bravo’s newest Top Chef Portland show, which highlights the best food Oregon has to offer, said Winery Manager Christine Clair. So far it’s been a great season; they’ve really managed to capture the essence of Oregon and its culinary treasures, Claire continued. It’s an exciting time for Oregon, and it’s just great for our winery to be a part of it, especially in this difficult year for the restaurant and culinary industry. This show could not have come at a better time.
