Clean Wine Co-Founded by Cameron Diaz and Katherine Power Sees Continued Success & Expansion

Avaline-Launches-Direct-to-Consumer-as-Demand-Grows(July 27, 2021) LOS ANGELES – Today marks the one-year anniversary of Avaline, the clean and transparent wine brand co-founded by Cameron Diaz (Wellness author: The Body Book, The Longevity Book) and Katherine Power (Who What Wear, Versed Skincare, Merit). Avaline received initial funding from renowned venture capital firms Greycroft and Sonoma Brands, as well as celebrity investors Nicole Richie and Gwyneth Paltrow. Greycroft has teamed with Marcy Venture Partners, H Venture Partners, and Plus Capital to lead the Series A investment. The Series A will be used to expand the company’s workforce, finance ongoing retail development, accelerate the direct-to-consumer (DTC) platform, and expand globally and into new categories. In 2021, revenue is expected to double compared to 2020.

Avaline debuted with a White and Rosé in July 2020, quickly garnering a devoted following and generating remarkable sales. Avaline White was named the best Ultra-Premium White Blend, accounting for 47 percent of the category’s growth, while Avaline Rosé was rated eighth. Original source: (26 weeks ending 4-4-21, SPINS)

In October 2020, Avaline released its Red, which was quickly followed by a Sparkling in December. Avaline has continues to respond to customer demand by including nutritional information and ingredients on all new labels, as well as providing additional information about its producer partners.

What is the secret of Avaline’s success? There’s a mix of product and marketing white space here. “We saw an opportunity to create a brand that this modern consumer connects with emotionally through digital channels, not only by offering a wine made from organic grapes with very little intervention and additives, but also by offering a wine made from organic grapes with very little intervention and additives,” Katherine explains.

Avaline is a social media-driven brand that is digitally native. Avaline now has over 119K active Instagram followers and has had over 15k one-on-one interactions with its audience. Through earned media attention and compelling social content, Avaline has produced over 28 million video views since its debut.

Avaline is one of the rare wines that provides ingredients and nutritional information directly on the label, despite the fact that it is not required by law. When it comes to wine, Avaline believes in empowering its consumers to make the best choices possible. All Avaline wines are vegan-friendly, produced with organic grapes, and free of unnecessary additives, so you’ll never wonder what’s in your glass. During the epidemic, consumers’ demand for better choices remained, and they continued to buy luxury wines, recognizing the importance of high-quality components.

Avaline White, Avaline Rosé, Avaline Red, Avaline Sparkling, and the newest release, Avaline Sparkling Rosé 375ml, a limited-edition, DTC-exclusive, are among Avaline’s clean wines. Avaline is presently accessible in 46 states, with 13 states offering direct-to-consumer sales. Avaline will be ready to ship to customers in almost 40 states by the end of the year via www.drinkavaline.com, making clean wine more accessible to those seeking healthier alternatives.
